At Duskraven, your privacy is our priority. This policy outlines how we handle your information to keep your experience safe, personalized, and respectful. We don't sell your data, track you unnecessarily, or complicate things. If you have questions, reach out—we're here.
1. Information We Collect
- Account Details: Email, optional phone, username, and profile photo for sign-up and verification.
- Your Content: Posts, messages, photos, videos, product listings, and job applications you share.
- Interactions: Likes, comments, follows, and feature usage to personalize your feed.
- Device & Usage: IP address, device type, app opens, and anonymized analytics (no personal identifiers).
- Location: Approximate location only if you opt-in for job searches or local discovery—never shared without consent.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Power the app: Match jobs, enable chats, process bookings, and show relevant content.
- Enhance your experience: Recommend connections and feeds based on your interests.
- Keep it safe: Moderate content, detect spam, and prevent abuse.
- Communicate: Send notifications, updates, or support responses (opt-out anytime).
- Improve Duskraven: Aggregate, anonymous insights to build better features.
3. Subscriptions & Payments
Our Premium subscriptions (e.g., Premium, Pro, Echo) are handled securely through Apple's App Store. When you subscribe:
- What We Collect: Only your subscription tier and expiry date (stored in Firebase for feature access). Apple provides an anonymous subscriber ID—we use it solely to validate active status, not for tracking.
- Apple's Role: All billing, renewals, and refunds are managed by Apple. They generate a unique, random subscriber ID per developer (as shown in the in-app notice). This ID helps us understand overall performance (e.g., churn rates) without linking to you personally.
- Your Control: View/manage/cancel anytime in iOS Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions. If you cancel and don't resubscribe within 180 days, the ID resets for privacy.
- No Extra Data: We don't access payment details (card info, etc.)—that's Apple's domain. No third-party payment processors.

4. Information We Don't Collect or Share
- No cross-app or website tracking—your activity stays in Duskraven.
- No data sales or ads—we're ad-free and focused on you.
- No third-party analytics tools; everything's in-house and minimal.
- No sensitive data like health, finances, or biometrics unless you voluntarily share in posts.
5. Sharing Your Information
We keep your data locked down on secure Firebase servers (Google Cloud, hosted in the EU for global compliance). We only share when necessary:
- Trusted partners: For app functions like cloud storage or payment processing (they're bound by strict NDAs).
- Legal obligations: If required by law, court order, or to protect rights/safety.
- Your choices: If you share publicly (e.g., posts) or connect with others.
All transfers use encryption (TLS 1.3+), and we audit regularly.
6. Your Rights & Controls
- Access & Update: View or edit your profile, posts, and settings anytime in-app.
- Download Data: Request a full export via support.
- Opt-Out: Disable notifications, location, or personalized feeds in Settings.
- Delete: Remove specific content or your entire account—see below.
Account & Data Deletion
You control your data fully. To delete your account: Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. We'll permanently erase your profile, posts, messages, connections, and all personal data from our systems within 30 days (irreversible). Anonymized stats may linger for app improvements but won't tie back to you. This meets GDPR/CCPA standards. Need help? Contact us—we'll guide you.
7. Children's Privacy
Duskraven is for users 13+ (or local age of consent). We don't knowingly collect kids' data. If we discover any, we'll delete it immediately. Parents: Use family controls and report concerns.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect app changes—rarely, and always for the better. We'll notify you in-app or via email 30 days in advance. Continued use means acceptance. Check back periodically.
9. International Users
If you're in the EU/UK (GDPR), California (CCPA), or elsewhere, you have extra rights like data portability or objection. Email us to exercise them—we comply globally.
